Scan, Edit PDF & OCR

• Effortlessly scan various types of documents, such as paper documents, whiteboards, business cards, books, posters, and receipts. The app ensures that all scanned documents are clear and legible for easy reading.
• Automatically detect document boundaries and correct any perspective distortions efficiently. This feature saves you time and ensures that your scanned documents appear professional.
• In the "Color" / "B & W" mode, remove background shadows and sharpen text for improved clarity. In the "Photo" mode, adjust photo brightness and color saturation for optimal image quality.
• Edit texts, lines, and pictures directly within the app. This enables you to make necessary changes or annotations without having to switch to another editing tool.
• Utilize the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature to extract text from scanned images. You can export the recognized text as txt or docx files for further use.

Photo Collage

Fax

The fax feature allows for convenient sending and receiving of faxes within the app. This is especially useful when you are away from the office or do not have access to a physical fax machine. You will receive push notifications regarding the status of sent or received faxes to keep you informed.

• Instantly fax documents to over 100 countries with costs calculated based on the number of pages and recipient country. Payment for fax services can be conveniently made via in-app purchase.
• Receive faxes with a non-auto renewable subscription, allowing you to subscribe to a dedicated fax number for receiving faxes. This ensures that you can effectively manage your incoming fax communications.
• Deny all faxes when there is no need to receive any further transmissions, providing you with complete control over your fax reception.

Export / Share Files

Share and transfer your documents seamlessly between devices and platforms using the export and share file features of ScanGenius.

• Email your documents as JPEG or PDF files directly from the app. This allows for easy sharing with colleagues, clients, or other recipients.
• Open your documents in other apps as JPEG or PDF files, providing you with flexibility in using different software or tools for further editing or processing.
• Save your documents to Photo Albums for convenient access and storage.
• Upload your documents to various cloud storage services, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, Box, OneDrive, SMB (Win / Mac / NAS), and WebDAV. This ensures that your files are securely stored and accessible from anywhere.
• Open a web browser on your PC to download JPEG files directly via WLAN (WiFi Local Areas Network), enabling easy file transfer between devices.
• Export your documents to Reminders and Apple / Google / Outlook Calendars for efficient organization and scheduling.

Import Files

Easily import JPEG or PDF files from other apps or cloud storages into ScanGenius for further processing and editing.

• Import JPEG files from other apps as image sources for cropping, perspective correction, and image enhancement. This allows you to utilize images from different sources without any constraints.
• Import PDF files from other apps as scanned pages, enabling you to integrate them seamlessly into your existing projects or documents.
• Import PDF/JPEG files directly from various cloud storages, streamlining your workflow and eliminating the need for additional file transfers.

Bronze / Silver / Gold Plan Subscription

• Subscribe to the Bronze, Silver, or Gold plan for enhanced features, such as cloud backup and restore of documents. This allows you to save and restore documents to specific dates, essentially creating a time machine-like function.
• Subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually based on the selected plan. Payment will be charged to your App Store account upon purchase confirmation.
• Subscription renewal occurs automatically, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Account renewal charges occur within 24 hours before the end of the current period. The cost is dependent on the chosen subscription plan.
• Users have the ability to manage their subscriptions, with options to turn off auto-renewal through their Account Settings after purchase.
• If a free trial is provided, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited upon subscription purchase or cancellation.
